Gerald Daniel

Gerald (Jerry) Daniel was one of the last singers to come on board for the record. Born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Toms River, NJ, Jerry was inspired to sing from a very young age. His first musical influences were his mom, also a singer, and the song “Earth Angel” by The Penguins. Once his mom brought home Boyz II Men’s first album, his life was forever changed.

Jerry appreciates almost any kind of music; an eclectic mix of Dave Matthews Band, Smokie Norful, AC/DC, Louie Armstrong, Jadakiss, and everything in between. In addition to singing, Jerry also played trumpet and has performed in several plays such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin, and Hair.

When Johnny Rock and Joseph Nardino found themselves stuck on the vocal melody for “The Tidal Track,” Joseph invited his old friend Jerry to sing the lyrics. Jerry’s involvement pushed “The Tidal Track” to a new level, and the song was finally on the fast track to completion.
