Meagan PartingtonMeagan Partington is a south Florida native who has been surrounded and influenced by musicians all of her life. She’s always enjoyed singing, but was usually too shy to truly share her talent with anyone but her karaoke machine, and occasionally a drunk crowd at an Irish pub. Meagan met her now fiancé Matthew in 2009 and shortly after started singing with his rock band Frequency. In 2010 she got her first guitar and started an acoustic duo with her aunt called Mary & Meagan. Both bands currently play throughout south Florida. Some of her favorite bands are Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, and New Found Glory.

Meagan makes her songwriting debut on For The Record with “More Than That“, co-written with her cousin Johnny Rock. She usually is writing parodies of other artists’ music such as “One Bud Light” (One Headlight), “Deer Deep Fried” (One More Night), “Hey – I Ate Food” (Stay – I Missed You) to name a few. Outside of music her other passions are children, spending time with family, laughing, and cold beer.
