Dave Marcus has been playing music and singing since he was a teenager in the late 1990s. He’s reluctant to divulge his influences, but we know he’s a mega-fan of Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Phish, Thrice, Thursday, Faith No More, etc. Dave and Johnny Rock have performed live together in several original bands and solo outings since 2007 including One Word Song, Pyroclast, and Dead Fish Handshake. In the studio, Johnny served as a drummer and engineer on Dave’s 2013 solo EP Songs Without Meaning. Dave co-wrote Johnny’s first solo release in 2009, “Song No. 28”.

Dave can often be found on stage in New Jersey with original rock/metal band Audio Empire, or performing acoustic sets both solo and on behalf of Audio Empire. On For The Record Dave is providing his voice, lyrics, and guitar playing on a song called “Just a Note”, co-written with Rob Ferreira. Dave also appears on a song called “Voices From Heaven” by Tony Caggiano.
